You need to pre-book your car in advance so that a private hire vehicle can serve you as quickly as possible — and you can get a quote on each trip during the booking, at fares that are fixed and even cheaper than most taxi services.

Booking a car in London

You can book via an app, telephone, or website. Otherwise, you can do this through a walk-in booking at a registered minicab office. What you cannot do is approach a driver directly: minicabs will only have a driver assigned if you have made a prior booking schedule.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between your cars and a black cab?
Ours are minicabs — private hire cars, which must be pre-booked. Hackney carriages or taxis are allowed to pick up passengers and flag down on the roadside; private hire cars can only be booked through a registered operator. In exchange, you get a fixed fare agreed before you travel.
How much is a London minicab?
Basic fares start from as little as £5.00 for the first 2 miles. Airport and station routes have their own fixed special rates — check any journey with the price checker.
